Last week I shared my song of the week and how the lyrics to this song inspired and motivated my surrender to Christ, setting into motion my season of purpose.

Its easy to assume that the artists we see and hear on the media were born successful and “just woke up like this”. That the fame and accolades just fell onto their laps. It is very refreshing for me to hear and see an artist share their ‘tell all story’, inviting the audience into the journey through their humble beginnings and road to success. We begin to see that it’s not as effortless as it seems to be, that work, effort, and sacrifice are the requirement to any successful career, especially in the entertainment industry. The most inspiring and admirable traits of their success is the passion and devotion to their craft, skills that captivate and inspire audiences around the world.
